Welcome to Website of The Garden Club of Savannah
The Garden Club of Savannah, a 501C3 non-profit, was organized in 1927 making it one of the oldest garden clubs in the State of Georgia. We get together at least eight times each year to enjoy speakers and presentations regarding all things gardening, including floral arranging. We have taken field trips and visited botanical gardens in the area and we enjoy our friendships, both new and long term, at annual luncheons. In April, we host the NOGS tour, which is a tour of downtown gardens and includes a tea at the Green Meldrim mansion. This is our only fundraiser and is supported 100% by our membership. The monies raised are used for educational and civic beautification projects and are chosen by grant applications submitted by non-profit organizations. All monies raised stay in our community.
